Luggage and Lost Property

Free luggage trolleys are available from certain, designated areas within the terminal and car parks of the airport, with access to toilet and telephone facilities close by. The trolley area is huge and passengers shouldn’t have to worry about trying to find one. Any travellers who have any disabilities should find one of the airport staff, who will help them getting a trolley, loading the luggage and pushing it through to check-in. Those passengers seeking a left luggage facility will find one located outside the UK arrivals section. The left luggage is open 24 hours a day from May to October and from 6am to 10.45pm November through April. It will cost £4 to leave one item for a maximum of 4 hours, £6 to leave one item for 24 hours, with every 24 hours thereon costing £6 per item; all bigger items such as bicycles and large boxes will be double the price. Travellers can also leave keys at left luggage for up to 24 hours, as long as they provide a £20 deposit, of which £14 will be given back, if the keys are picked up within those 24 hours. Glasgow International Lost Property
Anyone who has lost anything whilst at Glasgow Airport should immediately contact the lost property office at +44 (0)141 848 4740 or the airport police station at +44 (0)141 848 4515. Those travellers who have found an item within the airport terminal should hand it in at the airport information desk, located on the first floor, as soon as possible. Passengers who have left any belongings on the plane should immediately contact their handling agent or airline.
