Glasgow Airport is operated by BAA who enforce very strict security measures. Take great care to ensure your luggage has been packed by you. If items are confiscated from your hand luggage at security control they won't be returned unless there are exceptional circumstances, nor will there any compensation. In addition you may be arrested or detained and miss your flight.

Passengers can be dropped of outside the Glasgow Airport terminal, but the zone is constantly patrolled, drivers leaving their cars may be fined or have their vehicle removed. Drivers intending to accompany travelling passengers into the terminal building should first park in the short stay car parking.
