Ballymena

A favourite haunt of those wanting to ‘get away from it all’ without leaving the city is The Peoples Park, which was given to the town in 1807 by the Adair family and boasts excellent sports facilities, a man-made lake, playgrounds and lots of peaceful walks. The surrounding borough is equally full of treasures making the city an ideal base for exploring this beautiful region of Northern Ireland.
