Cookstown

Four miles west of Cookstown stands the 18^th century Wellbrook Beetling Mill, which was in operation until 1961. Truly ancient sites include the 10^th century Ardboe Cross, believed to be the first high cross in Ulster and Beaghmore Stone Circles that stand in the lovely Owenkillen Valley. Natural wonders include the 92 hectare Drum Manor Park which is home to the ruins of the manor, a forest garden arboretum and butterfly garden.
