Harrogate Travel Guide

Harrogate’s Royal
Pump Room Museum was built in 1824 to house the Old Sulphur Well, whilst
the town’s oldest medicinal spring, Tewit Well was
discovered in 1571; both are popular with visitors interested in the town’s
early history. More recent developments include the Harrogate International
Centre on of the finest complexes of it’s kind in Europe, which along with
the Royal
Hall attracts thousands of visitors each year. Dining out in Harrogate is a
real treat the only problem being the choice of restaurants
on offer and shopping
in the delightful town centre is as much an adventure as a necessity. All in
all you would be hard pushed to find anywhere in the north of England to match
Harrogate’s splendour and you can guarantee it will remain popular with
visitors well into the foreseeable future.
