Another very impressive building is the thoroughly modern Alfred McAlpine Stadium home to Huddersfield Town FC and Huddersfield Giants Rugby League Team. Entertainment wise the town has much to offer including St. Paul’s concert hall at the University, which holds the annual Contemporary Music Festival, the world-famous Huddersfield Choral Society and the Lawrence Batley Theatre. As you would expect from a University Town the nightlife is fairly up beat with a satisfying choice of pubs, clubs, live music venues and restaurants to choose from.
