Loughborough Travel Guide

Originally a Corn Exchange the Town Hall has
been a centre of social activity since 1855 and now houses a theatre,
restaurant and several function rooms. The outdoor market on Thursday and
Saturday is another popular attraction and dates back to 1221 when King Henry
III granted a charter. All Saints Parish Church
stands in one of the oldest parts of Loughborough next to the 14th
century Manor House
and the nearby Old
Rectory now houses a museum.
Wander down medieval Church Gate and you’ll believe you have travelled back in
time. When you’ve finished exploring you may wish to enjoy a quite drink or
bite to eat one of the many excellent pubs and restaurants
in the town centre. Then in the evening why not catch a show at the Town Hall
or watch a movie at the wonderful ‘Curzon’
Cinema. Whatever your pleasure its always that little bit more in Loughborough.
