Newtonards

The best views of the town can be had from the top of Scrabo Tower, which was built by the 3rd Marquis of Londonderry and stands in lovely Scrabo Country Park. The park is also home to the historical and local environmental exhibition. This once peaceful market town has, in recent years, transformed into a busy manufacturing and commercial centre and subsequently offers excellent shopping and a good choice of pubs and restaurants.
