Oldham

A great way to see the surrounding area with its lovely countryside and scenic villages is via the canals that run through the borough and were once used as major haulage routes. Oldham Town Centre has recently been given a new lease of life as the regeneration programme has introduced some superb shopping centres and market halls. Entertainment wise Oldham has always delivered, especially theatre with the primary venues including Queen Elizabeth Hall and Oldham Coliseum Theatre. If you’re not big on theatre worry not there’s plenty to keep you occupied in the evenings including countless pubs, clubs, live music venues and restaurants.
