Torquay

The ever lively harbour side is great place to watch both boats and people going about their daily business. Close by a former Edwardian theatre is now home to the Pavilion, a shopping centre devoid of all the major chain stores, packed with small boutiques and specialist shops. Befitting a town that attracts so many visitors Torquay offers plenty of recreational and entertainment diversions. The Babbacombe Theatre and Toads Operatics stage a variety of musical and drama productions particularly during the summer months. Nearby Paignton has a new 9 screen multiplex cinema. There are many nightclubs in the town; amongst the popular are Mojos, Club Rio and Club Rainbow.
