At 9650 feet, the Pic de Coma Pedrosa is Andorra's highest peak and anyone daring to hike up it will find it easily accessible, but stamina is a necessity, as the trek is long and strenuous. Visitors will start out at the back of the Crest Hotel on Arinsal road, which is clearly signposted, and will eventually cross the Coma Pedrosa river to the valley of Coma Pedrosa. The ascent to the peak begins here, where the trail will turn an abrupt right and will take hikers around the snow-fringed lake of Estany Negre, where the journey seems to last forever! Once visitors have walked around the whole of the lake they will then begin the final climb to the peak.
