Those wanting to get away from Anguilla’s tourist side of life, should take a visit to Island Harbour. Fishing boats instead of masses of bronzed bodies surround the beach here and the area has quite a few eateries and hotels. Visitors looking for a bit of history should head to Big Spring, an old cave containing an underwater spring and many Amerindian petroglyphs. At the moment the cave is not safe to enter but plans are underway to repair the cave so tourists can go and explore.
