This attraction would be pretty hard to find if a visitor was without a guide! Betty’s Hope is found by venturing onto a dirt road, just outside Pares village, in Antigua. The country’s first sugar plantation, which was founded in 1650, the tour will take visitors to the twin windmills, and the visitor centre which has exhibits on the island's sugar era. The village’s private trust is still venturing into the prospects of restoration, but at the moment remains in need of attention.
