Australia - The Outback

The arid sparsely populated interior of Australia, the Outback accounts for nearly 85% of the nations landmass. Unforgiving yet spectacularly beautiful there is nowhere else in the world quite like it. This never ending landscape is strewn with strange and awe inspiring natural phenomena – Devils Marbles near Alice Springs, Wave Rock, Katherine Gorge in Nimiluk National Park, the Uluru and the Olgas. A word of warning; the Outback is not a place for the foolhardy, it takes no prisoners, you can die of dehydration within hours so go well prepared!
