Home to the Hapsburgs, Hofburg Palace (also known as Imperial Palace) houses Austria’s most intriguing museums and provides an excellent insight into the country’s fine heritage. Highlights include the 14th Century Augustinian Church, the imperial silver collection, the Imperial apartments, collections of weapons and musical instrument, a section of the Museum of Fine Arts, the Royal Chapel where the Vienna Boys choir sing at Sunday mass, the Imperial Treasury, which includes a nail and thorn from the Crucifixion and the National Library.
