Situated near the Karnapuli River, the large city of Chittagong is a pretty place, which has a waterfront region, called Sadarghat, an area that provides plenty of river trade. There are also two mosques here, The Shahi Jama-e-Masjid and Qadam Mubarak, whose buildings are stunning and deserve a photograph or two. The Ethnological Museum in the Modern City area of the city is another area of interest where information on Bangladesh's tribal peoples is on show.
