This hamlet that was burnt down by the Nazis, during the war in 1943, and is now a memorial ground, which revolves around a sculpture of the only survivor of the war, Yuzif Kaminsky. Other memorials here are the Graveyard of Villages, which honour 185 Belarusian villages, wiped out by the Germans, the Trees of Life, concrete posts, which remember over 400 villages which were ruined but now have been rebuilt and lastly the Memory Wall, which lists the people who fell victim to the Nazi’s, in the concentration camps in Belarus.
