Near Natitingou, on the northwestern border to Togo, visitors will find the area known as Bokoumbé, a West African trading village, which lies close to the highest mountain in Benin. The market in the town is the best in the country, where villagers come to socialise, drink beer and hopefully remember to buy what they came for! Tourists can buy some great souvenirs at the market, including some rare and genuine carvings and smoking pipes.
