Bermuda - Hamilton

Bermuda sightseeing, attractions and online travel guide

The capital of Bermuda and the country’s main business centre, Hamilton, is not that big a city but its busy, busy, busy! The most crowded area can be found at Front Street, a harbour front road filled with Victorian buildings, painted in lemon, apricot, pale blue and lime shades! The city also has a cathedral, a museum and a national gallery for visitors to browse round, and the city’s fort, named Hamilton Fort, built in the 19th century, when Britain and the US were at loggerheads, is an interesting structure for tourists to explore. The city is also the centre for public transport, so once visitors have shopped, eaten and explored, travelling out of the area is performed with the greatest of ease.
