With a riverside location, an outstanding array of vegetation and awe-inspiring wildlife roaming about, the Chobe National Park must make it onto your Botswana itinerary. The park itself is 6,800 square kilometres of varied land teeming with the most outstanding wildlife in the country, if not the continent. Campgrounds and safari camps are located within the park as well so you can fall asleep to the sound of the wild and awake to exotic animals meandering around. The best time to visit the park is October to April, this is when the weather is optimal and the wildlife is at its best.
