Botswana - Elephant Watching in the Linyanti Marshes

Similar in appearance to the Okavango Delta, the Linyanti Marshes on the Linyanti River next to Chobe National Park is home to one of the largest elephant congregations in the world. The remote location of the marshes makes for an outstanding one-with-nature experience. Tented safari camps are plentiful yet spread out so whichever one you chose to set up camp in you will feel that you are alone with the wild and untouched. Make sure you go in the winter months, that’s when the largest concentration of elephants make the marshes their home. Of course the marshes are bursting with other wildlife sure to keep your senses alert.
