A small, local town found on the banks of the Tonle Sap, where big old buildings and blossoming parks make it a tranquil area to visit. The actual name Chhnang means pot in Khmer, probably due to the amount of pottery recreation that occurs in the region, of which, visitors can buy at one of the roadside stalls. Whilst here visitors can also visit the areas capital, Oudong, nestled between both Kompong Chhnang and Phnom Penh.
