Cambodia - Toul Sleng Genocide Building

Once a high school, the building fell into the hands of the Khmer Rouge, and soon became an interrogation centre known as S-21. Anyone suspected of treason came here to be tortured for confessions, with not many surviving the Khmer Rouge’s brutal ways. The terrible history of Toul Sleng was documented by the Khmer Rouge their selves via the aftermath of photographs of many of their victims. The area’s bad atmosphere and past usually creates a chill in all visitors who are guided round the museum.
