Tofino and Ucluelet are the two main whale-watching posts on Vancouver Island that attract visitors from around the globe. The wild and rugged coast off Vancouver Island is a wildlife haven. During the months of March and April, more than 20,000 grey whales swim north to these pristine waters. Sea otters, humpback whales, sea lions and bald eagles also can be spotted here.
