Colombia’s Caribbean coastline stretches for 1,000 miles and includes several archipelagos and islands. An idyllic tropical destination with white sandy beaches, palm trees and clear warm waters it is every bit as rhythmical and colourful as you would expect from a Caribbean getaway. With a backdrop of mountains and lush jungle trails concealing wonderful ancient ruins and monuments. Offshore the coral reefs offer untold wonders of the deep, the crystal waters home to myriad species of marine creatures. Of particular note are the resorts of Cartagena de Indias, a wonderful colonial beach town, Santa Marta and the Sierra Nevada and San Andres and Province two peaceful, friendly and genuinely beautiful islands.
