A beautiful marble Neo-Renaissance building designed by Josef Schulz and completed in 1890, the National Museum is situated at one end of Wenceslas Square and is mainly devoted to mineralogy, anthropology and natural history. Pride of place is taken by the archaeological finds including skeletons, minerals, busts and stuffed animals.
