Prague - The House at the Black Madonna

A fairly recent addition to the Královská Cesta, or Royal Route the House of the Black Madonna was finished in 1911 and is the earliest example of cubist architecture in Prague. The House is a museum and contains an excellent exhibition of Czech cubist art, furniture and architecture. The Black Madonna original stood on the corner outside the House is a treasured artefact and is now safe inside the building.
