Prague - Wenceslas Square
Prague sightseeing, attractions and online travel guide
Situated to the east of Charles Bridge, the pedestrian friendly Wenceslas Square covers nearly two square miles. At its upper part you can admire Prague’s most famous landmark the statue of the 10th century Good King himself (St. Wenceslas) astride his steed. Below is a simple memorial to those who gave their lives resisting Communism, including Jan Palach. Wenceslas Square is also the Cities number one shopping area.
