Copenhagen has a good range of pubs, wine bars and clubs with an electric nighttime atmosphere. It starts late, as most clubs don’t get busy until around midnight and changes regularly with new clubs and bars springing up all the time. For beer guzzlers, the fantastic Subsonic has a Bier Keller corner and an SAS lounge with original aircraft seats. Fever is a Hip Hop and R&B club, with a chilled out lounge area, a good place for an early start. To step back in time, try Stereo Bar with its lava lamps, 70’s retro décor and easy listening music. For funky dance music with a Latin and swing beat feel, Ideal Bar in Vesterbro really gets going as the night wears on. Base Camp is a huge warehouse type venue with a 600-seat restaurant, an outdoor grill area and exceptional live music. For ravers, Fever and Park Diskotek are the most popular clubs in town, with nights ranging from happy house to hardcore techno.
