For shop-a-holics Copenhagen has a real treat with the world’s longest mall in Copenhagen’s charming old town section. Consisting of five streets running in conjunction with each other it’s about a kilometre long and the oldest pedestrian area in the world. At one end of Stroget is the bustling Radhuspladsen and at the other the exclusive Kongens Nytorv square where you’ll find the Royal Theatre. Smooth, rich coffees and mouth watering pastries can be enjoyed at any of the pavement cafes while you watch the continuous procession of people from all walks of life.
