Fancy a bit of windsurfing…on wheels! Visitors need to jump on a bus, which will take them down the road from Djibouti to Ali Sabieh, crossing two extensive desert plains, the Petit Bara and the Grand Bara. At the eastern end of these plains, travellers can get their wheels out and roam the areas’ wild and barren land. There is also some accommodation in the nearby town, for anyone wanting to stay and enjoy the sport for a couple of days or more.
