The Pompidou Centre is one of those places you inevitably either love or hate. Architecturally described as a structural expressionist cast exoskeleton, what this means is it’s looks as though they built the interior on the outside. The Pompidou centre, designed in the 1970’s by Richard Rogers and Renzo Piano.is a modern construction of metal and glass with the "exterior" escalators enclosed in transparent tube across the facade. Housing modern art exhibitions in a truly modern environment, the Pompidou Centre is unique.
