Germany - River Rhine boat trip from Bonn to Koblenz

Heading from Bonn to Koblenz down the dreamy River Rhine takes in some beautiful scenery along Germany’s most famous river - scenery that is often missed by those who only cruise from Koblenz southwards. Boats can be boarded on the eastern edge of the Altstadt in Bonn at the Brassertufer near the Opera House. The Rhine between Bonn and Koblenz is not as hilly as in the Rhine Valley and the main sight to see is the Drachenfels ruin, literally translated as (Dragon Rock). The fabled castle of Drachenburg sits on top of Drachenfels - one of the best-known mountains in Germany and arguably the most scenic. Take in the riverside sights and sounds whilst cruising down to Koblenz where the Moselle meets the Rhine. It’s a wonderful trip with plenty of gorgeous views.
