Comprising two densely-wooded ranges, the Feldberg and the Grand Ballon, the spectacular Black Forest stretches 170 kms/106 miles, from Karlsruhe in the north to Basle in the south. The Black Forest is undeniably one of the most beautiful holiday regions of Germany.
