Housed in the Ilisia mansion this splendid museum traces the history of Greek art from the 4th to the 19th centuries and includes sculptures, paintings and small works of all kinds. They include a 4th century funeral stele featuring a meticulously carved group featuring Orpheus, a Mytilene gold necklace, a unique two sided icon of St.George and the exquisitely elaborate Pyx and Sceptre from the Metropolian of Hadrianopolis.
