Corfu - Paleokastritsa

One of Corfu’s favourite beauty spots, named after the ruined 13th-century Venetian ‘Castrizza San Angelo’, which overlooks the four lovely bays Paleokastrisa has somehow managed to retain its charm and beauty despite developing tourism. The area is distinctly picturesque. Yellow sand or fine pebble beaches shelve gently into the clear turquoise waters, each beach flanked by stunning pine-clad promontories. Behind the hillside rises through olive groves amongst which most of the holiday accommodation is scattered along with a great choice of friendly bars, tavernas and a couple of nightclubs.
