Greece - Sailing the Greek Islands

The sea has been described as the very heart of Greece, and as the waters are peppered with hundreds upon hundreds of idyllic islands, there is really no better place to go sailing. There are an immense number of different sailing experiences to enjoy all dependent on which group of islands you choose to sail. For example, the Aegean Sea is renowned for it’s variety of winds and dazzlingly beautiful islands with deep and weather protected gulfs. Alternatively, the Ionian Sea boasts calm blue-green waters with islands full of pine trees and spectacular white beaches. From the Sporades to the Cyclades, from the Dodecanese to the Saronic Gulf, the scenery, the weather and the welcome at each island is second to none and makes for a fantastic sailing experience.
