Situated on the west coast of Thassos next to three small gulfs lies the quiet fishing village of Skala Marion (aka Skala Maries). Still an active fishing village the town also makes part of its income from tourism catering for those looking for a more peaceful holiday. Built in the hollow at the foot of the mountains it is unique to the Island both picturesque and industrious (by Greek standards that is). It is the ideal place for some serious r & r in truly idyllic surroundings.
