Designed by the famous Dutch architect Gerrit Rietveld the Van Gogh Museum is nothing less than sensational. With 200 of his paintings, 500 drawings and 700 letters written to his brother Theo, it contains the largest and most varied Van Gogh collection in the world. Highlights include The Potato Eaters, Self-portrait with Felt Hat, Still-life with Sunflowers and Wheatfield with Crows. There is also a comprehensive collection of work by his peers, including Monet, Gaugin, Fantin-Latour, Sisley, Isaac Israëls and Toulouse Lautrec.
