Holland - Delft

Delft, the picturesque little town that has made Holland famous for its earthenware is located on the River Schie between Rotterdam and The Hague. Magnificent buildings and fascinating museums line the streets of Delft but it is more the authentic Delft Blue products that became world famous in the 17th century that draw visitors year after year. The original Royal factory is still in operation and all Delft remains authentic as it is still painted by hand according to old traditions. This is the place to absorb some old Holland atmosphere and to get that special souvenir!
