Take a tour around Israel’s major water supply and witness not only the beauty of this fresh water lake but the history that surrounds it. Yet another holy spot for many, a trip around the Sea will allow you to encounter many biblical towns and sites including Capernaum, Greek Orthodox Monastery, Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes and Migdal. Many kibbutz, synagogues and cemeteries also lie near the banks of the Sea of Galilee. If you have the time, a cycle around the sea is even better than a drive!
