Israel - The Jordan River Valley

Popularized by folklore as a gateway to paradise, the Jordan River is the boundary between Jordan and Israel. The river itself has been a main source of economy since the beginning of time with its abundant waters ideal for fishing. The river flows for over 100 miles through the Sea of Galilee to the Dead Sea. Along the way there is the deep and beautiful valley which is truly a sight of beauty. Of course there are also many biblical references to this rich vein making a visit to the Jordan River Valley an almost spiritual experience.
