Israel - The Sea Caves of Rosh HaNikra

For a truly out of the ordinary experience descend into the sea caverns of Rosh HaNikra. On the most northern point of Israel’s coastline lie the most spectacular grottoes, alive with flora and fauna and dramatic views. A cable car will lower you to the maze of 200 meters of caves. Until 1968 the caves were a well-kept secret amongst divers but once word got out, a cable car was built and the caverns opened up to the masses. Don’t let that put you off, it is still a truly remarkable site not to be missed.
