is a small list of some that should not be missed.
The Bob Marley Experience

Licensed by the Bob Marley Foundation, this brand new centre at the Half Moon
Shopping village houses an air-conditioned theatre screening a Bob Marley documentary
8-10 times daily, wide screen, comfortable seats, admission free. Has the largest
collection of Bob Marley T-shirts in the world, plus Marley posters, caps, shorts,
polo shirts, towels, postage stamps, incense, stickers, and many other items
available for purchase.
Barnett Estates

The Barnett Estates showcases a captivating tour that is led by a guide in period
costume. The guides are unique in that they recite period poetry and sing period
songs. The Estate is still active in that it still grows coconut, mango, and
sugarcane on most of its 3,000 acres. Samples are given out to those who join
the optional plantation tour by horseback.
Greenwood Great House

In order to recreate the atmosphere of life on a sugar plantation, visit Greenwood
Great House. Originally built by the Barrett family, the house features include
oil paintings of the Barretts, fine china made for the family, a library of
rare books. Visitors can also enjoy the atmosphere of the on-site pub.
Croydon in the Mountains

This working plantation offers to visitors a wealth of knowledge and history
about Jamaican life in the rural areas. There are interesting insights in coffee
cultivation and processing. Samples of exotic fresh fruit, fruit juices and
fruit drinks are available. Unusual fruits like: Carambola, Oneca, Otahiti apples
and Passion fruit are available during season.
Maroon Village Tour

All day excursions, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays up to the Cockpit Country,
mountain home of the Maroons, runaway slaves who defeated the British to gain
their independence. This tour offers a fascinating historical, educational and

The most well-known and famous beach in Montego Bay is the Doctor's Cave Beach
Bathing Club. Visitors can enjoy the brilliant waters and smooth beaches.
James Bond

This beach was named after the James Bond movie" Dr No". It is a favourite
of locals and tourists alike. Ian Fleming, the author of the 007 legend, is
said to have come her regularly for a swim. The beach also features many restaurants
and bars. Glass bottom boats, kayaks, wave runners and snorkelling facilities
can also be found here.
