With over six acres of land, Underwater World, found on the beachfront of Pantai Cenang, is one of the biggest freshwater and marine aquariums in Asia. There are over 5,000 types of fish and around 500 species in over 100 tanks. The big tank at the complex, is the hexagonal tank, with walk-through tunnel and contains six million litres of sea water! Visitors are able to walk through the middle of the tank whilst observing, close up, sharks, giant turtles, stingrays and other sea life as they swim by.
