For a ruin run of Mexico look no further that Oaxaca, Mitla and Monte Alban where the ancient world has been uncovered. Monte Alban, an ancient Zapotec capital just west of Oaxaca with 170 underground tombs to roam, spectacular views and amazing ruins is an archaeologists dream. Travelling further south to Milta you will stumble upon pre-Hispanic mosaics and re-discovered gems. Mexico is riddled with Aztec and Mayan delights and are just waiting to be discovered.
