Known in Nepal as Sagarmatha, Mount Everest is definitely a sight to see, climbing it though is another thing! With the highest summit on earth at 29,029 ft, only the fittest, most experienced climbers could venture to its peak. First climbers to the summit were Tenzing Norgay from Nepal and Sir Edmund Percival Hillary from New Zealand who reached to the summit on 29th of May 1953 via the South-East Ridge Route. One of the best climbers to date is Apa Sherpa, a Nepali who has climbed Everest 11 times.
