As the ‘Adventure Capital of the world’, Queensland has an awful lot to live up to. The amazing thing is that it really does. Queensland’s appeal is two fold, not only does it run the gamut of virtually every kind of outdoor activity you could think of (and some you might not) it is extremely compact allowing visitors to indulge in a vast array of activities with little or no real effort involved (other that the sports themselves.) Covered in natural phenomena suited to extreme sports and adventure pursuits New Zealand’s ‘Natural Theme Park’ has mountains, lakes, rivers, forests, trails and historic sites all within close proximity to each other.
The increasingly popular high risk sports are catered for possibly better than anywhere else in the world, white water rafting, climbing, paragliding, high speed jet boat rides through river canyons and of course bungee jumping What’s more if you’ve got the stamina you can enjoy several different activities all in the same day. All the activity centres are run by professionals and safety measures kept to an optimum, the hardest part of your visit is deciding which combination you want to choose each morning.
