Fancy a skiing session while in Poland? There are some great places to hit the slopes, one of which is Tatry, around Zakopane and Szczyrk. The area can sometimes get busy, due to its breathtaking surroundings and great skiing possibilities, if that’s the case; visitors can head off to the quieter Sudeten Mountains of Duszniki, Miedzygorze, Szklarska Poreba and Karpacz. Any skiers wanting to get in some cross-country skiing though, need to take a trip to the Suwalskie and Kashubian Lakelands, Lublin Plateau or Bieszczady Mountains, all providing great skiing and beautiful scenery.
