Just over an hour’s drive away from Dakar sits the region known as Saly, an area with 1,480 acres of foliage including exotic flowers and trees, surrounded by aromatic eucalyptus and baobabs. Visitors to Saly can stay at one of the dozen hotels situated along the beach, with each one supplying a biking centre, so that visitors can enjoy touring round the area with ease. Sali also has a golf course and plenty of water sports including water-skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing, scuba diving and snorkelling.
